1.No Flaming/ trolling
Flaming includes insults toward other people, someone's beliefs or other sites.
Trolling includes derailing topics, and badgering others into an argument.Please stay on topic.
2.No Profanity.
Mild profanity is alright, but nobody wants to see profanity in every post you make.
3. No Leet Speak/ Hacker language.
So our members can understand you, please refrain from typ1ng L1k3 this.
4. Written Language.
As the majority of our users speak english, we ask that you kindly speak it as well.
5.No Nudity or sexual content.
This ruling is geared at prohibiting pornographic content.
If your content is an artistic interpretation, it is acceptable, but must be put in a spoiler.
We aim to offer a family friendly site to our members, so if your art is graphic, please contact myself or a staff member and we will create a sub forum for it.
6-A. Rom/ emulation ruling.
This includes linking or sharing Roms, and ISO's for the purpose of obtaining a free copy.
You may share a rom for download, but you must host it yourself. Adding it as an attachment here will cause your account to be permanently banned. Under the DMCA any downloaded roms must be removed 24 hours after download. The Vayne of Gaming, and its staff are not held liable, nor responsible for any legal action taken, so download, link, and host at your own risk!
6-B. Fan translations.
Fan translations are also allowed, but only for games not available in your region.
You must provide a link to the translation group's home page, and credit them accordingly in your post.
If/when a game is released into your region, the translations will be pulled from your posts in an effort to support the official release.
7. No Spamming.
The only exception to this rule is the Spam thread.
8. No Double posting.
We wish to provide an easy to navigate community, and in order to do this, we ask that you please help us keep it organized.
If you double post, your threads will be merged together.
Multiple offences will result in a warning.
9. No arguing with the staff.
If a staff member asks you to stop doing something, please do so.
If someone you know was given a warning/ban, do not inquire about it to a staff member. That matter is between the staff and the person in question.
10. Signatures/ Avatar
Your avatar may be up to a maximum of 160 x 400 pixels, and must not be in violation of any site rules. Currently, animated avatars are not permitted, unless they are a small gif image no larger than 200 x 200 pixels.
Signatures may consist of one signature picture. Each may also have one small animated gif, or one animated or normal userbar.
Neither of these if animated, may contain images that might induce seizures, or distract from your actual post due to extreme rapid animation or flashing lights/colors.
11. Critique.
If someone asks for a Critique, please be sure to offer constructive criticism.
Comments like "This work is okay." or "This sucks" will not be permitted.
Please offer a reason as to why the work is good or bad, but make sure to focus on all aspects of the work first. Also include a few pieces of friendly advice if offering negative critique.
